Ingredients

- Oil – Use extra oil to fry the chicken. Frying is what is recommended in this recipe. Use unflavored oils such as canola, vegetable oil, or refined oils.

Marinate Chicken
1)Take boneless chicken breast and cut it into small pieces. Take it in a bowl.
2) Add buttermilk and salt, stir well.
3) Let it soak for 1 hour. This helps tenderize the chicken.
Seasoned Flour
4)take the wheat flour in a bowl. We will make seasoned flour.
5) Add baking powder. This helps lighten the batter when frying.
6) Add ground pepper, salt and oregano.
7)Add paprika or chili powder.
8) Add garlic powder.
9) Mix well. This is your seasoned flour.
10) Remove the chicken from the buttermilk marinade. Dip the chicken in flour.
11) Stir until coated in seasoned flour.
12) Heat oil for frying. Place the chicken in the hot oil and fry until golden brown and crispy.
13) Serve.
